REPAIRS
& MAINTENANCE:
Even the best gear can come acropper under hard use
or after passage of time. Depending on the problem, we can
help you decide which way to go, whether to buy new or repair the old.
In some cases, such as lightweight stoves and other climbing hardware,
we may have the spare parts and the know how to do an in-house repair.
However, in all cases, we can advise you how to maintain your gear to
extend its life.
Manager Burt Batcheller specializes in major repairs to
Mad River Canoes (including
replacing gunwales); he can help as well with many other canoe and kayak
repair issues.
